Dental information can influence health and money decisions, so we hold it to a higher standard than ordinary web content. This page explains how it is produced.
1. What we publish
- Dental care guides — general explanations of treatments, procedures and recovery, written by the TrustDento Editorial Team.
- City, area and treatment pages — directory pages with treatment overviews and cost information built from prices that clinics list on TrustDento. These pages are partly generated from templates and live data; the template text is what our reviewer checks, not each individual page.
- Dentist and clinic profiles — written by the practitioner or clinic (or, for unclaimed listings, compiled by TrustDento from public information and labelled as such). We do not medically review individual profiles.
- Patient reviews — written by patients, not by us.
2. Writing and medical review
Guides are drafted by the Editorial Team from general dental knowledge. Where a guide shows a “Medically reviewed by” line, a named, registered dentist has read it for clinical accuracy on the date shown. A guide without that line has not yet been medically reviewed, and says so on the page. We never show a reviewer name, credential or date that is not real.
3. Sources
Each guide links to further reading from authoritative bodies such as the World Health Organization and national health services. Where a reviewer adds claim-level references for a guide, they appear on that guide.
4. Prices and cost information
Prices come from the ranges that dentists and clinics enter on their own profiles, and city or area figures summarise those entries. They are indicative, not quotations, and are not a survey of what patients paid. Confirm the final price with the clinic.
5. Independence and paid placement
TrustDento earns from paid memberships and booking tokens. Paid members are listed ahead of non-members and are labelled “Premium Member”. Payment does not change a Trust Score, buy a Verified badge or remove a review. See how ranking, verification and Trust Scores work.
6. Corrections and updates
If you believe anything on TrustDento is inaccurate, tell us through the Grievance Redressal process or Contact Us. We correct verified errors promptly and update the “last updated” date. Clinical content is re-reviewed when guidance changes or when we make a meaningful edit.
