How Treatment Prices Are Calculated on TrustDento

Every treatment cost page on TrustDento (for a state, a city or a locality) shows a lowest, average and highest price. This page explains exactly where those numbers come from, so you can judge how much weight to give them.

Where the prices come from

Dentists and clinics enter a minimum and maximum fee for each treatment they offer when they create or edit their TrustDento profile. TrustDento does not survey patients, collect invoices or audit these fees. They are the prices the clinics chose to list.

How the figures are calculated

  • Lowest is the smallest minimum fee listed by any approved provider in that area.
  • Highest is the largest maximum fee listed by any approved provider in that area.
  • Average is the mean of each provider's midpoint (minimum plus maximum, divided by two).
  • Clinics comparing is the number of providers whose listings the figures rest on.

Why small samples are flagged

An average built from one or two clinics says very little about a whole city. When fewer than three clinics (two for a locality) have listed a price, the page says so, and TrustDento does not submit the page to search engines unless it also carries original local information. Treat figures from small samples as a starting point only.

What the numbers do not tell you

  • They are not a quotation. The real cost depends on your diagnosis, the material used, the number of visits and the dentist's experience.
  • They do not say whether X-rays, consultations or follow-ups are included. Ask the clinic.
  • A higher or lower price is not a measure of quality.

Ordering and paid membership

Dentists and clinics with an active paid membership are listed first and marked Premium Member. Membership never changes a price figure, a Trust Score or a Verified badge. See how ranking and verification work.

Report a wrong price

If a listed price looks wrong, tell us through the contact page. We will ask the clinic to confirm or correct it.
